1. Customer service commitments

If you are a business customer with a domain registered through us and have domain issues, please email us at domains@promotelocal.co.uk. We aim to respond to all points of contact within 2 business days and aim to resolve any issues you have within 5 business days.

2. Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint about a domain service you have received, please submit an email to us at domain_complaints@promotelocal.co.uk including as much detail from the issue you have. We aim to acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve any issues within 5 business days. If you're not happy with the initial outcome of your complaint, than please feel free to escalate your issue to Nominet (the .uk registry) here: http://www.nominet.org.uk/disputes/complaining-about-registrar/complaints-procedure.

WE DO NOT EXCLUDE OR LIMIT OUR LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE OR FOR OUR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION.

The Reviews section of our web site is fully moderated. Every Review submitted will be checked by us for compliance with our Content Standards before it is published. We will try to publish as many Reviews as we can but we cannot guarantee that all Reviews will be published. We also cannot guarantee how quickly Reviews will be posted as this will depend on other editorial commitments.

Although the Reviews are fully moderated, we are under no obligation to you or any other person to oversee, monitor or moderate the Reviews or any other service we provide on our web site and we may stop moderating the Reviews section at any time. We reserve the right to not publish any Review which we deem to be potentially defamatory of any person or which we deem unlawful or in violation of our Content Standards or any third party rights.

You understand and acknowledge that information posted or transmitted by reviewers is the sole responsibility of the person from which such material originated.

Promote Local shall not in any way be held responsible or liable for reliance by users on any information that is obtained from a Review. We do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of the content, information or usefulness for any particular purpose.

5. Indemnity

You shall remain solely liable for the content of any Review you submit. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Promote Local, and its parent, affiliates, directors, officers and employees from and against any claim, liability, cost, damage other expenses or loss we may incur (including, without limitation, legal fees) as a result of any material you post in a Review or any violation by you of your obligations under these terms and conditions.

By submitting a Review, you agree to grant Promote Local a non-exclusive licence to use that Review and the unrestricted right to freely use, edit, alter, reproduce, publish and/or distribute the material contained in your Review for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, as we see fit, without acknowledgement or compensation to you. This licence will be free of charge, perpetual and capable of sub-licence. Promote Local may exercise all copyright and publicity rights in the material contained in your Review in all jurisdictions, to their full extent and for the full period for which any such rights exist in that material.

The Locallife name and logos and all other brands, names, logos, marks and slogans on this Site are the trade marks or service marks of us or our licensors.

You agree to be bound by the Copyright Notice and Privacy Statement currently in force.

If any of these terms should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted and the remaining Site Terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

These Site Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any dispute which may arise under these Site Terms. We shall also have the right to bring a claim against you in the jurisdiction in which you are based.
