Never heard of Chagford?Be prepared to be delighted. Amble among the quirky streets and lanes browse in the famous emporiums that sell everything. Walk around the edge of the town and pass your time with the wild Dartmoor ponies. Climb Nattadon or Meldon with breathtaking views of Dartmoor. A walkers' paradise. You will not want to leave. Chagford maybe on the moor but it is a vibrant town with plenty going on so do not expect it to be like a Ghost Town!
