HLB Bathrooms and Heating - Hyde - Reviews

Mark Bentley (HLB Bathroom and Heating) replaced a down stairs toilet for my wife and I in 2014, he contacted us via rated people after we advertised for the work to be completed. He came to see the job (replace toilet under stairs) and we agreed for him to carry it out. Things went down hill from ther, he picked up the wrong type of toilet, not a hall hung toilet as we wanted, we also asked for a slow close toilet seat, he did not get this either, he forgot. He secured the toilet in place using silicone and said 'it will be fine it just needs 12 hours to dry'! 12 hours later the toilet moved when you sat on it!! Tried ringing him, no answer, no reply to texts emails! I had to raise a formal complaint with Rated people whom closed his account as he was doing nothing to recify the problem and mess he left us in. The toilet had to be replaced. Mark did not show any insight into the trouble he caused us and this at a time when my wife was 37 weeks pregnant and we had a baby just when trying to deal with all the issues! Absolutley disgusting what he did to us, have him do work at your own risk. Trading standards have been made aware of him
