Recently refurbished it is now owned by Vicky and Peter Crossingham with manager Fiona Rundle and chef Simon Kennard at the helm.We source the majority of our food locally and offer a core menu of popular traditional dishes and vegetarian options with seasonal 'specials' available every day.There are always up to four local cask ales available in our traditional tap room and cosy lounge bar. We also have a small carefully chosen wine list.The dining area complete with woodburner is linked to the bar and there's a secluded area ideal for meetings and functions for up to 20 people.With its own parking and free wi-fi the Royal Oak is a great venue for business meetings or working lunches.Upstairs the Royal Oak has six en-suite bedrooms. We regularly have guests who are visiting popular nearby attractions including the Eden Project The Gardens at Heligan and the National Trust's Lanhydrock House.All the family is welcome - Including well-behaved dogs.
